Icom IC-RX7
I have had this receiver for a few years now and I really like it. It is a very powerful radio and a little tricky to comprehend at first, but once you get it it's hard not to like.
This is a smart wideband receiver with too many features to list right here. Below in the download section is the manual that explains everything. While it is programmable by the keypad, and I have done it, it is much easier to use the CS-RX7 programming software by Icom. Like other radios, you can create multiple files for multiple uses or locations. However, the included Windows 7 drivers do not work in Windows 7 64-Bit. Icom does make drivers but they are hard to find. I found them on their Japan site and have them in the download area.
The original antenna worked as good as any stock antenna; probably better looking at the wide range this radio covered. But I broke the antenna, so I added the Diamond SRJ77CA antenna. It is a dual-band antenna with an extended receive range to 900 MHz. So far I am very happy with this antenna.
